Houtje is about dreaming of wood. About daring to get lost along the way and discovering something new. Houtje is a performance at the intersection of theater, woodworking, and music.

Viko and Thor are carpentry singing in their workshop. But then a piece of wood gets in the way.

The Little Piece of Wood doesn't fit. It doesn't belong anywhere. Such a beautiful and rough and magnificent Little Piece of Wood… surely that can't be right? To the rhythm of sawing, chopping, and planing, and a journey through wood shavings, splinters, and bandages, they search the jungle for where the Little Piece of Wood comes from.
