The Amsterdam Neighbourhood Film Festival is coming to Cinetol with a special edition full of films and stories from the neighbourhood. Watch the documentary Stadsdorp de Pijp by local resident Simon Bunt, among others. Meet filmmakers and local residents and enjoy films, music, and poetry.

‍The festival brings filmmakers, visitors, and local residents together to share stories from their own surroundings. This time, films and stories from Amsterdam South take center stage.

‍The program includes, among others, Stadsdorp de Pijp, a documentary by local resident Simon Bunt. You will also see Hier begint de zee, a short documentary by Gertruud Langedijk, Heel Amsterdam Danst, an AdamTok by Miro Lucassen, and Rare Vogels, an award-winning AI animation by Liesbeth Agelink.

‍In addition to the films, there is time to talk together and exchange ideas. There are also performances featuring music or poetry that fit the theme of the afternoon. The afternoon will be opened by Kibret Mekonnen, initiator and artistic director of the ABFF.
