For those who love hip-hop and for those who have never seen the inside of a theater
Theatre maker Titus 'Muis' Muizelaar (77) and spoken word artist YMP (38) weave the texts of 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin' , and Beckett's Krapp's Last Tape together into one story. The daily struggle of the black man is juxtaposed with the existential loneliness of the white man in the late 20th century. The search for the meaning of life runs through it all. This is an ode to a friendship that transcends all categories. Old school and new school, repertoire and experiment, activism and pure art.
Tickets are free with the We Are Public pass.
