Especially in a time when differences are often magnified, it is important to continue meeting each other based on curiosity and equality. That is why Artin Muziek & Friends are returning to the Patronaat on Sunday, November 22, with connecting stories through music, rhythm, and delicious food.

From Persian poetry to Kurdish sounds, Balkan influences, and rousing rhythms: music here is a bridge where people with different cultural traditions meet.

Artin Muziek is a musical collective founded by percussionist Asghar Barani, who, with his musical roots in classical Iranian tom-back , has been active in the Dutch music scene for years as a percussionist and workshop facilitator with Orchestre Partout and Station Zuidwest. Through Artin Muziek, he offers (new) musicians in the Netherlands a stage and creates space for musical and cultural exchange and collaborative creativity.

Together with a special group of guest musicians, Artin Muziek & Friends takes the audience on a musical journey full of emotion, energy, and connection.
