The members of the mysterious English nu-metal band BLACKGOLD manage to keep their identities secret even in this post-information age and consistently perform wearing masks. According to frontman Spookz, they do this because the music is more important than the people who make it. That music is a blazing reinterpretation of bands from the golden age of nu-metal – think Limp Bizkit (for whom they have already supported), Korn, and System of a Down. It is not for nothing that BLACKGOLD's slogan is 'Your mum's favourite nu-metal band'. Speaking of humor, their latest EP is titled EP Phone Home!
