Marcel Riesco is an internationally acclaimed singer within the rock 'n' roll and rockabilly circuit. His vocal sound, often compared to that of a young Roy Orbison, has taken him to countless festivals worldwide. His musical style is rooted in 1950s rock 'n' roll and sounds earthy, raw, and nostalgic, with clear influences from Sun Records.

In addition to his musical career, Riesco is an authority on Roy Orbison. He has been researching his life and work since the early 1990s. He contributed to official projects such as the DVDs Greatest Hits and Live in Australia , the official online biography, and the book The Authorized Roy Orbison (2017).

Marcel explains the link with Orbison as follows: “It goes like this: I learned to sing with Roy Orbison’s songs. He has always been my mentor, so that influence is naturally present.”

And it has been quite a while since Mischief! was on our stage. Way too long ago.

Marcel Riesco is stopping by with The Ray Allen Band, who, in addition to providing accompaniment, will also play their own set as the opener for this old-school rockabilly matinee!

DJ Hugo puts on the records.
