Cellofest: The Murakami Songs

Wandering through the unique world of the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami.

In this program specially made for the Cello Biennale, cellist Benjamin Glorieux, pianist/composer Rembrandt Frerichs, percussionist Vinsent Planjer, and actor/singer Frans van Deursen stretch the boundaries of reality.

Wandering through the unique world of the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami, they bring a kaleidoscopic concert full of talking cats, pining love couples, fish rains, a boy named Crow, and a lonely, yearning cello searching for its other half.

Benjamin Glorieux cello, Frans van Deursen vocals, Vinsent Planjer percussion, Rembrandt Frerichs piano
