American singer-songwriter Chris Eckman is still known among older rockers from the indie rock band The Walkabouts, who were also popular in the alternative circuit in our country with their album Setting The Woods On Fire (1994) and thanks to many European tours. In 2025, his fifth album, The Land We Knew The Best, was released – on the standout track Lament, Eckman and his band reach Neil Young & Crazy Horse-like spheres!
