The Flemish all-round artist Daan stands out with his warm, deep voice - even if he sings Elsevier's Tax Guide, it immediately sounds interesting. He broke through in the late nineties as the frontman of the art rock band Dead Man Ray, shortly after he also started a solo career. In his intelligent pop, Daan manages to combine artistry with accessibility, comparable to Sparks, John Cale, and (the late) his compatriot Arno. Daan performs tonight in a trio formation with Isolde Lasoen and Jean Francois Assy - expect, among other things, work from a new EP that will be released in the fall of 2026!
