By now, we can rightfully count De Kift among Dutch pop heritage. And they are playing at Patronaat on Saturday, March 13! For 38 years, the Zaandam natives have been a quirky flamboyant character in the music scene at home and abroad. With lyrics drawn from world literature and a combination of punk, pop, theater, and brass band, they master the art of moving the audience like no other.

Since its founding in 1988, De Kift has released 13 studio albums. If not with an album packaged in twenty cut-up postcards, then through a new collaboration. Rats on Rafts, Calexico, Franz Ferdinand, Wout Kemkens & Rocco Ostermann, actor Sanne den Hartogh, and documentary filmmaker Sanne Rovers previously joined forces with De Kift.
