Get your red hat ready! After two sold-out shows, Drukwerk returns to Patronaat on Thursday, January 28. Who doesn't know them? Frontman Harry Slinger and musicians Ton Coster, Joop May, and Hans Witteveen formed one of the most popular Dutch pop bands ever in the bustling streets of Amsterdam in 1978. As Drukwerk, they stood on the barricades of the late 70s with protest songs that reinforced the burning issues of the time, such as youth center closures and housing shortages.

In the glorious year 1981, they definitively captured hearts with the golden hit 'Je Loog Tegen Mij', a song that not only dominated the Dutch Top 40 but also stood the test of time as a fixture in the NPO Radio 2 Top 2000. In the following ten years, Drukwerk released seven studio albums featuring hits such as 'Marianneke', 'Schijn 'n Lichtje Op Mij', and 'Hee Amsterdam'. Today, the band, led by Harry Slinger and featuring his son Bram among others, continues to perform the beloved songs, lively and meaningful as ever.
