LONDON QUARTET BRINGS POSTPUNK TO EKKO WITH CUTTING OBSERVATIONS IN ANNIVERSARY YEAR

The London quartet Dry Cleaning makes post-punk that sounds entirely unique. With thunderous bass lines, tumultuous guitar work, and Florence Shaw's deadpan spoken lyrics, the band stands head and shoulders above the rest in the major post-punk boom of recent years. Shaw, a visual artist and university lecturer with no prior experience as a frontwoman, creates her own world of everyday absurdities and surreal observations.

After two acclaimed albums and a spot in the British top 10 with their debut album 'New Long Leg', their third album 'Secret Love' was released in early 2026, their most ambitious work to date. Following previous shows at Lowlands and Down The Rabbit Hole, among others, the band returns to EKKO to celebrate their 40th anniversary.
