EHBO ft. Han Bennink, Benjamin Herman, Ernst Glerum & Oscar Jan Hoogland

Rasimprovisatoren return with a brand new album.

Three times is a charm: after two sold-out concerts, the EHBO Quartet returns, this time with a brand new album in the trunk. The lineup remains unchanged: Han Bennink (drums), Ernst Glerum (bass), Benjamin Herman (saxophone), and Oscar Jan Hoogland (piano) present this new music in their own unique way, as befits the rasimprovisatoren.

Han Bennink, known for collaborations with Dexter Gordon and Sonny Rollins and co-founder of the legendary Instant Composers Pool (ICP), together with bassist Ernst Glerum forms the core of the quartet. Saxophonist Benjamin Herman (New Cool Collective, plus numerous own projects) and pianist Oscar Jan Hoogland, a figurehead of the Amsterdam improv scene, complete the ensemble. Top-notch improvisation.
