Evelyn Dupuy

Cuban singer connects Afro-Latin tradition with contemporary influences.

Evelyn Dupuy has been living in the Netherlands for more than ten years, but her music remains rooted in Cuba. The singer started performing at a young age and draws from Afro-Latin rhythms, where tradition and contemporary influences come together. She collaborated with Cimafunk and Chuchito Valdés and performed at venues such as Het Concertgebouw, Melkweg, and TivoliVredenburg. She was seen on The Voice of Holland as 'The Latin Voice'.

Her music is danceable and draws from the Cuban tradition, with songs she now performs on stages in the Netherlands, France, Belgium, and Germany. In addition to her work as a singer, she is committed to diversity and female representation in the music industry.

After the concert, there is a Cuban salsa party in our café with a fantastic view, where you can dance until the late hours. Salsa Panorama, organized by Salsa District, has become a tradition at BIMHUIS.
