GB is the alias of Danish artist Gustav Berntsen, originally from Copenhagen and now based in London. His music moves between experimental guitar music, ambient, and dreamy indie-pop, with a strong focus on texture, repetition, and atmosphere. On his debut album Gusse Music (2024), released via Posh Isolation, he constructs layered, collagistic compositions in which melancholy and pop sensibility converge. Think of a cross between ambient soundscapes and introspective guitar songs, with influences reminiscent of the more experimental edges of indie and lo-fi.
As a fixture in the alternative scene (with Gusse B, Dirt Bike, and Pardans, among others) and a growing name in the London Underground, GB continually explores new forms. His single Fiction Memory and the double EP Ressed / Falter demonstrate this evolution: from repetitive, hypnotic structures to more dynamic and layered compositions. Live and in the studio, he balances spontaneous improvisation with carefully constructed soundscapes — ideal for fans of experimental indie, ambient pop, and atmospheric guitar music.
