Girls to the Front is an Utrecht based initiative which focuses on the Dutch based FLINTA representation within the punk music industry. It started as an event on the 8th of march in dB’s by Bibi Fay Bannink, an 18 year old feminist punk fan with a plan. Which grew out to a compilation vinyl with 14 FLINTA fronted punk bands, called Girls to the Front. Which was released on the 8th of march 2025 in EKKO, and was followed by a tour throughout the Netherlands. Including Paradiso, VERA Groningen, Rotown, Wilde Weide and Down the Rabbit Hole Dj-set. 2026 will bring another compilation vinyl, another tour and a continued fight.

Flyssa
We started Flyssa (فليسة) a few months ago in Amsterdam after a few of us met within the local DIY scene. Our influences range from Siouxsie and the Banshees through Vex to Siekiera and Anti Cimex, so the best way to describe how we sound is a mix between post-punk, punk and d-beat. You can expect short and fast songs in minor modes with lots of chorus on everything. We would like to believe that our music speaks for itself. Our lyrics are in Algerian Darija and English and reflect what we care about, like building safer communities, as well as what horrifies us, whether it’s patriarchy or various forms of imperialism.

Cavegirl
Power pop/garage punk 4-piece from Amsterdam (featuring members of The Earwurms, Prom Vagabonds, PFAS and BeaBop) playing heartfelt and absurd tunes, filled with catchy hooks and dissonant basslines. Fun for the whole family :3

My Girl Loves Heroine (Garage Punk / Acid Rock – Based in Rotterdam and Paris)
A three-piece bringing garage rock, heavy riffs and a loud, physical live show with a distinctly camp and provocative edge. Drawing inspiration from The Stooges, Dead Moon and The Cramps, the band brings raw energy and expressive performances.
