ILUKA

Australian pop cowboy full of female rage

Anyone not afraid of a healthy dose of female rage will find the perfect outlet in ILUKA. Expect catchy pop choruses, raw vocals, and above all, a good excuse to stomp out all your pent-up anger. According to this Australian pop cowboy, there is reason enough for that: misogyny, the endless criticism of women, and emotionally unavailable men all get a dressing down. Her music is a protest against everything you might normally swallow. So don't be fooled by her sweet, fairytale-like appearance. ILUKA blasts her message loud and clear through the speakers. And for those who still haven't gotten it: “ I'm not your manic pixie dream girl. ”

Music was instilled in her from a young age. How could it be otherwise, with a guitar builder for a father? She recorded her first songs at just the age of seven (really!), after which her love for music continued to grow. That little girl grew up. And how. By now, her songs account for millions of streams. With attention from Rolling Stone, among others , ILUKA is only at the beginning of her rise. And if it is up to her, she is here to stay.

In November, her latest album, the wild, the innocent & the raging , was released, after which ILUKA took to the stages with The Wings Tour . Now it is time for De Helling. So put on your cowboy boots, bring your frustrations, and stomp them out together with ILUKA.
