During the concert Live Reeds, visual artist Anne Gentenaar (Studio de Maan) creates live visuals that react in real time to the repertoire of the Dianto Reed Quintet. This creates a dialogue between sound and image. The program includes works written especially for the quintet by Primo Ish-Hurwitz, Julian Schneemann, Arjan Linker, Ramin Amin, Fuensanta Méndez, and Jaime Peña, among others, plus the world premiere of a new piece by Max Knigge. A special, immersive experience.
