Discover the pop musicians of the future live! On Friday, December 4th, we present ILA and RubinCarter, two creators who are building their own universe. Two years after the debut album Ayna, ILA has a follow-up ready with Motherland, sounding bigger and more ambitious than ever. The album was recorded with top producer Mikko Gordon (Idles, The Smile), while Cicek's father and the elements of nature form a common thread through an album that is about all of us. Motherland will be released at the end of September. RubinCarter is the band around singer-songwriter Sal Rubinstein (including Queen's Pleasure). In silence, the first songs were created on the edge of his bed, strumming simple campfire chords, which for a long time were only meant for himself. Only when he found the confidence to share his songs did he gather his best friends and RubinCarter was born. Together they find a warm, raw indie sound, where introspective folk and unpolished rock meet.
