Ontaard is a Utrecht-based quartet that weaves spoken word and an overwhelming wall of sound into post-metal that grabs you and doesn't let go. Shira's lyrics are feminist and emotionally charged with anger, sadness, and the hope that a better world is possible.

After performances at Roadburn and supporting acts such as Deafheaven and Esben and the Witch, their debut album 'A Monster Named Shame' will be released in October 2026.
