Energetic, playful, and always a tad unpredictable: Personal Trainer returns on Thursday, March 18! Personal Trainer is one of the most energetic and idiosyncratic indie bands in the Netherlands. Centered around frontman Willem Smit, the band grew over ten years from an Amsterdam underground collective into an international live act, with shows at Lowlands, SXSW, and Iceland Airwaves. After three years of non-stop touring, the band is back with new work: Human Assholes , on which they once again capture the creative freedom and spontaneity of their live shows.

Expect an evening full of hyperactive, playful, and unpredictable indie rock. With previous albums Big Love Blanket and Still Willing , Personal Trainer has secured a firm spot in the Dutch indie scene. But as the band themselves say: no song is ever truly finished and no show is ever the same.
