The young Australian singer Ruel is taking the world by storm with his catchy pop and R&B in the style of Shawn Mendes. In recent years, he has scored hits with tracks like Dazed & Confused, Don't Tell Me, and Painkiller – just how popular he is is evident from the fact that his five most-listened-to songs on Spotify have a combined stream of over a billion. Ruel's second album, Kicking My Feet, was released in 2025, which (as we recently learned) is part 1 of a double album – part 2 is titled Kicking My Feet & Screaming and comes out on June 12, 2026. Fun fact for the Pop Quiz: Ruel's father was born in the Netherlands!
