Soak released their debut album 'Before We Forget How to Dream' in 2015; this album won both the Choice Music Prize and the Northern Ireland Music Prize and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Subsequent albums, 'Grim Town' and 'If I Never Know You Like This Again', also received critical acclaim. The band has toured extensively throughout the US and Europe and performed at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, SXSW, Primavera, and Other Voices; additionally, they supported Julien Baker's concert series in London and toured with artists including Modest Mouse and Lucy Dacus.

Soak's fourth album, 'Decembers', came into being in literal silence. Due to an autoimmune disease that made it impossible, it was precisely the absence of sound that formed the basis for the artist from Derry's most striking album to date, both in terms of sound and lyrics.
