Hopefully, it comes as no surprise here at dB's that we lovingly host bands from the excellent Voodoo Rhythm label. The Swiss band The Jackets have been guests here before, and after that thunderous performance, we are delighted to welcome this trio back. The reason is simple: this trio, led by the heavily eyeliner-adorned frontwoman Jack Torera, is number one when it comes to timeless fuzzy garage punk. From Benidorm to LA, from London to Bern, every self-respecting garage rock fan runs wild with The Jackets' hits. Garage punk as it was meant to be: catchy as hell, fuzzy as fuck, and with a ton of live attitude. Or as it says on The Jackets' own bio:
“Thunderous, stripped-down rock and roll with overpowering hooks and a ton of attitude! The rock world is a fickle, inequitable conundrum of uncertainty that does not always reward the most talented and hard-working acts. The Jackets have convinced me that they have what it takes. Will the world respond?”
Well? And you? Come and take a look then.
And holy moly, the French band WEIRD OMEN just happens to be in the area to turn this Tuesday evening into a massive party. WEIRD OMEN is a welcome guest at dB's, and for good reason, as these gentlemen always manage to impress live with their interpretation of sleazy garage rock. In a unique lineup of saxophone, guitar, and drums, this trio creates a uniquely exhilarating sound. Saxophonist Fred is the absolute focal point of the band and is also known as a member of King Khan & the Shrines.

Bring it on!
