The young Utrecht singer/pianist Thijs Veldhuis reached the final of The Voice of Holland this season thanks to pure, passionate performances of songs including Going To A Town (Rufus Wainwright), Another Love (Tom Odell), and Somewhere Only We Know (Keane). At his audition (with Another Love), all four coaches turned their chairs - 'Your voice transcends genres,' said coach Willie Wartaal, and presenter Edson da Graça even called him 'a superstar in the making'. Veldhuis will present new original work tonight, but of course also songs with which he made a name for himself on The Voice!
