This Is Lorelei is the solo project of Nate Amos, also known as one half of Water From Your Eyes. On 'The Singer in My Band', Amos draws from the tradition of the Great American Songbook while giving it his own offbeat twist. Written largely while touring, the album took shape through ideas that slowly developed on the road. Americana, bluegrass and pop come together in personal stories filled with humour, melancholy and strange turns.
