Two top brass bands, one special stage. During Two of a Kind, Fanfare De Eendracht from Den Ilp and Fanfare DSS from Aarlanderveen meet for a musical evening at 't Zonnehuis.
Both orchestras hail from small villages but play at the highest level. De Eendracht, under the direction of Marcel Visser, belongs to the international elite of the fanfare world and has won multiple Dutch titles and a world title in the first division at the WMC. DSS plays under the direction of Danny Oosterman in the concert division, the highest category of Dutch wind music, and is known for its versatile repertoire and musical ambition.
The monumental 't Zonnehuis provides the atmospheric backdrop for this encounter. In the intimate theater dating back to 1932, the power and sound of both orchestras come particularly close. An evening for enthusiasts and anyone who wants to be surprised by top-level fanfare music.
